CONNECTICUT FARMS CHURCH NURSERY SCHOOL is still registering for the 2009-2010 school for children 2 1/2 to 5 years old. We have classes Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Tuesday and Thursday for the younger children and Monday to Friday for 4 or 5 year olds.

Mission

The aim of Connecticut Farms Church Nursery School is to make the first "Giant Step" away from home a happy and secure one. Under the guidance of trained and loving teachers, your child is given an opportunity for regular association with children of her or his age. The teachers are interested in the individual child's mental, physical and emotional development. The programs are planned and supervised by a state certified Teacher-Director.

A learning environment with many interesting and fun experiences and activities is provided. Socialization, independence and cooperation are encouraged. We also seek to establish an open parent-teacher relationship. Parent-teacher conferences will be scheduled late in the school year, but any questions or concerns may be discussed at any time.

The school, staff and facilities meet all State requirements and we are licensed by the State of New Jersey. We provide programs in the following sessions:

Half days from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Half days from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Full days from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.*

We provide an optional lunch program from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The cost is $2.00 per day. The children bring their lunch and we provide their drink and supervision. *The full day session requires this option.

The Nursery School year begins in September, the Monday after Labor Day and ends on or by June 15^th. We generally follow the Union Township Public School System's calendar for days closed, but we are not in strict accordance with it as we are a private nursery school.

The Nursery School has classes for children 3 and 4 years old where basic skills are developed and reinforced in a fun yet structured environment. The 4 year olds will be involved in a Pre-K class that meets 5 mornings or 5 afternoons a week. For the younger children, we provided classes two or three days a week.

Registration Information

If you wish to enroll your child, please complete the registration form and return it to the school along with one check in the amount of $50.00 (non-refundable) registration fee plus the tuition deposit for the session you choose. The tuition deposit is required at the time of registration to hold your child's place. The tuition deposit is refundable up to June 30th of this year, should you need to cancel your child's enrollment; otherwise it is credited to your child's last month in school (mid May to mid June). If you cancel after June 30th, your deposit is not refundable.

Tuition Payments

Tuition is due on the 15th of each month automatically starting in September. Please bring tuition into school promptly.

Penalty Fees

There is a $25.00 fee for any check returned from the bank for any reason. You will also be charged a $25.00 penalty for each week that tuition is late.

After we have received the registration form and payment, we will send you additional forms including a medical form which is to be filled out by your child's doctor. The medical form is a State requirement, no child can be admitted without one.
